Health disclaimer

Effective date: 10 September 2026 Last updated: 10 September 2026

If you think you may have a medical emergency, stop reading and call your local emergency number now — 999 in the UK, 112 in the EU, 911 in the US. Axis X is not an emergency service and cannot help you in a crisis.

Please read this page before using Axis X. It explains what Axis X is for, what it is not, and how to use the information it gives you safely. It forms part of our Terms of Use.

1.Axis X is not a medical device

Axis X is a general wellbeing and lifestyle app. It is not a medical device, and it has not been assessed, certified or approved by the MHRA, the FDA, the European Medicines Agency or any other medical regulator. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease, condition or symptom, and it is not intended to be used for any of those purposes.

Axis X is provided for general information, personal awareness and self-tracking only.

2.Nothing in Axis X is medical advice

The content you see in Axis X — including insights, patterns, correlations, weekly recaps, routines, "starting suggestions" for movement or supplements, research explainers, and answers to questions you ask — is not medical advice, and does not create a doctor–patient or any other professional relationship between you and Axis X Limited.

Axis X does not know your full medical history, cannot examine you, and cannot replace the judgement of a clinician who does. Information in the app is general in nature and may not apply to your situation.

3.Always speak to a qualified professional

Before you act on anything you see in Axis X, and in particular before you:

talk to your GP, pharmacist, specialist or another qualified healthcare professional who knows your history. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you have read in Axis X.

4.AI-generated content can be wrong

Axis X uses artificial intelligence to interpret what you tell it and to generate insights and suggestions. AI systems can produce information that is inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong — sometimes while sounding confident. Treat AI-generated content as a prompt for a conversation with a professional, not as a conclusion. Where Axis X tells you it is uncertain or suggests you consult someone, please do.

5.Your data may be incomplete or inaccurate

Patterns and correlations in Axis X are only as good as the data behind them. Wearables and phone sensors have measurement errors; connected platforms may sync late or miss entries; and information you type or dictate may contain mistakes. A correlation Axis X shows you is an observation about your data, not proof that one thing causes another. Do not make health decisions on the strength of a chart alone.

6.Cycle, fertility and hormone information

Axis X can track cycle phases and factor them into your patterns. Predictions of cycle phase, ovulation or period timing are estimates and can be wrong, particularly during perimenopause, when cycles are irregular by nature. Axis X must not be used as a method of contraception or to plan or avoid pregnancy. It does not detect pregnancy or any gynaecological condition. If you have unusual bleeding, severe pain or other symptoms that worry you, see a doctor.

7.Mood and mental health

Axis X lets you log mood and stress and may reflect patterns back to you. It is not a mental health service, does not provide therapy or counselling, and cannot detect or respond to a crisis. If you are struggling, please reach out to someone who can help. In the UK you can call Samaritans on 116 123 (free, 24 hours) or NHS 111; elsewhere, contact your local crisis line or emergency services.

8.Supplements and food

Suggestions about supplements are general starting points drawn from published research and what you have described. They do not take account of every interaction with medications or conditions, and supplements can interact with prescription drugs, affect lab results, or be unsuitable in pregnancy, breastfeeding or with certain conditions. Check with a pharmacist or doctor before taking anything new. Nutrition information generated from meal photos or descriptions is an estimate.

9.Your responsibility

You are responsible for the decisions you make about your own health and for how you use the information in Axis X. By using the Service you accept that Axis X Limited is not liable for any harm arising from reliance on the app in place of professional medical advice, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in this disclaimer limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law — see Section 15 of our Terms of Use.

10.Questions

If anything on this page is unclear, or if you see content in Axis X that you think crosses the line into medical advice, please tell us at hi@axisx.ai. We take this seriously and will look into it.
